The Republic Plaza, a tall building in downtown Denver, hosts the temporary digital TV transmitter of TV station
KRMA (Channel 18) as well as those of all the member stations of the Lake Cedar Group (KCNC [Channel 35],
KMGH[Channel 17], KUSA [Channel 16] and KTVD [Channel 19]). Station KRMA has applied to the FCC to move
its designated DTV transmission site from Mount Morrison to the Republic Plaza. According to a Technical Exhibit
KRMA filed with the FCC, transmitting from the Republic Plaza, KRMA will be able to provide service to 80% of its
viewers using only 18 kW (1.8% of allotted power).
