Squaw Mountain
Squaw Mountain hosts TV station KBDI (Channels 12 and 38). Antenna elevation for KBDI is 11,480 feet, the
highest TV transmitting site serving the Denver area. A second site zoned for broadcast towers and facilities is
also available on Squaw Mountain at an elevation of approximately 10,800 feet. Below is an FCC map of the
coverage of KBDI’s permitted 1000 kW digital transmitter. (KBDI is currently transmitting digital with 42 kW,
or 4.2% of allowed power.)
